The Tennessee Titans ended a three-year playoff drought in 2007 - getting the job done the old fashioned way by playing smash mouth football. The interior lines on both sides of the football were physical in the trenches powering the franchise to a 10-6 record in the rough and tumble AFC South, arguably the best division in the league. While the defense was a vastly improved unit, the team could not overcome the regression of QB Vince Young, who threw almost twice as many interceptions as he did touchdown passes. The Titans claimed the final playoff spot in the AFC, but at the end of the day finished on the wrong end of a 17-6 score at San Diego during wildcard weekend.
