The Panthers 2007 season could best be summed up as a twisted game of quarterback musical chairs resulting in four different signal callers starting three or more games, with the best of them, Jake Delhomme, going down in Week 3 due to a season ending elbow injury. The Panthers have finished 22nd or worse in total offense the past three seasons, but last year represented a new basement. The unit hit rock bottom finishing 29th in total offense (284.9 yards-per-game) and 26th in scoring offense (16.7 points-per-game). The passing offense averaged 170.9 yards-per-game and compiled only 28 plays of 20+ yards, which both ranked 29th in the league. Only five teams scored fewer than the Panthers' 28 touchdowns.Senior Editor
