Knowing how to utilize your Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) is one of the key ingredients in maintaining a championship fantasy baseball team. Just like in any auction format, the question remains will you make many smaller investments to try and upgrade one piece at a time, or will you try and make a huge splash in the free agent market by landing one of the top up-and-comers (a la Ryan Braun 2007)? Each week we're going to try and help point you in the direction of some of the key free agents to be for immediate help. Now, there is no way to know which players are available in every league unless we wanted to personally call each one of you (but that would just be creepy).
