Torii Hunter was awarded his eighth straight Gold Glove on Thursday, according to MLB.com. Ichiro Suzuki also picked up his eighth straight trophy as well with Grady Sizemore rounding out the outfield with his second award.

Our View:Hunter makes the spectacular plays, Ichiro makes all the plays, and Sizemore ranges to the gaps to make diving plays. If any team ever had this trio in the outfield their pitching staff might see their ERA drop by a half a run as not many balls would hit the outfield grass.

Torii Hunter went 1-for-4 with two RBI in the Angels 3-2 loss to the Red Sox in Game 4.

Our View:Hunter went 5-for-11 with RISP in the series while the rest of the Angels only had three hits with RISP. Hunter's first season in Anaheim ended like many of his efforts in Minnesota, that is with a crushing playoff loss.

Torii Hunter had an ice pack on his left knee after Friday's loss to Boston, but he said he will definitely play through the injury, according to MLB.com. "It's a little sore, but trust me -- I can play through it," Hunter said. "Adrenaline is a painkiller. I'll play through it."

Our View:Hunter injured himself when he landed awkwardly after jumping into the air to protest a call at first base. Thankfully it appears that his team will not be without his services as they attempt to dig themselves out of a 2-0 hole.

Torii Hunter remained in the game until it's end after injuring his knee while disputing a call early in the game. He finished 2-for-5 with two RBI on the in the Angels loss.

Our View:He laid down a bunt in the ninth indicating his faith in the health of his knee. There will likely be a report regarding his availability for the rest of the series within 24 hours.

Torii Hunter injured his knee while arguing a call in Friday night's Game 2 of the ALDS against Boston. After being called out in a bang-bang play at first base, Hunter jumped in the air and landed awkardly on his left knee. He immediately fell to the ground, grabbed the inside of his knee and grimmaced in pain. Despite a pronounced limp, he has remained in the game. The Angels staff are currently calling it a jammed knee.

Our View:Don't be shocked if Hunter does not finish the game and even misses a start or two in the playoffs. Hunter may have injured his knee before he ever left the ground while coming to an abrupt stop and turning his body to watch the call. We will keep you updated on his situation.
