September 8, 2008
Kevin Millar is facing free agency in the off-season and has decided he would like to remain with the Orioles, according to the Baltimore Sun. He said, "Truthfully speaking, I want to be here. I feel like everything is going in the right direction. I enjoy the tough times when you are rebuilding, revamping. I enjoy those times because when you see a team turn the corner, it is pretty neat."

Our View:Millar only holds a .243 batting average, but chipped in 24 doubles, 20 homers, and 71 RBI. He would like to return in 2009, but the Orioles are expected to take a shot at first baseman Mark Teixeira and other players on the market before deciding Millar's future with the team.
August 8, 2008
Kevin Millar went deep twice on Friday night as he knocked in three runs for the Orioles.

Our View:Millar continues to provide value in AL-only leagues with the power (18 HR, 59 RBI), even if the average is sub par (.248). He'll likely continue to produce at these levels over the remainder of the year.
July 28, 2008
Kevin Millar was 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI and two runs scored on Monday night.

Our View:Like many Orioles hitters, Milar feasted on a Yankees staff, led by Mike Mussina, that didn't have much tonight. Millar gets on base and has produced better numbers than his .245 average would indicate.
July 6, 2008
Kevin Millar went 4-for-4, including a solo home run, in Sunday's 11-10 loss to the Rangers.

Our View:The home run was his 12th this season. Millar can be very streaky and this could be the start of something larger.
June 18, 2008
Kevin Millar singled in the game-winning run in the 10th inning, and the Baltimore Orioles handed the Houston Astros their seventh straight loss, 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Our View:Millar appears to be fully recovered from a bruised left knee that limited this past weekend.
