Newsbreakers
September 21, 2008
Ray Durham is still bothered by his sore hamstring, and if he can't play by Tuesday night he will likely be out of the lineup until next weekend as the Pirates will throw left-handers on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Our View:Weeks has hit much better against southpaws this year with a .259/.392/.430 line in those situations, so it might make sense for him to over Durham even when he is healthy as Durham's production has been much worse (.224/.359/.329) against lefties.
September 21, 2008
Brewers second baseman Ray Durham will not play on Sunday as he continues to suffer from a strained right hamstring, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Durham left the team's game on Friday with the malady, and sat out Saturday's game as well. Rickie Weeks made his way back into the lineup and went 3-for-3 with a triple and home run.
September 19, 2008
The AP reports that Ray Durham left Friday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds in the fourth inning with a right hamstring strain. He had been caught stealing earlier in the evening.

Our View:Durham had been the starter at second base ever since interim manager Dave Sveum took over but do not be surprised if this injury keeps him out the rest of this series and perhaps longer.
September 9, 2008
Ray Durham was not in the starting lineup tonight against the Reds but he sure did make an impact. Durham hit a game-tying, three-run home run in the seventh inning but it was all for not as the Brewers continued to their slide losing, 5-4.

Our View:Durham has had a good impact for the Brewers and will continue to see at-bats against right-handers.
September 5, 2008
Ray Durham is in the starting lineup on Friday night against the Padres. It's his first start since spraining his shoulder on August 26th.

Our View:Durham should see plenty of starts against right-handers for the remainder of the month. He is hitting .301 off of them this season.
