October 31, 2008 Second baseman Joe Dillon has been claied off of waivers by the Oakland A's. He was with the Brewers orgainzation last season. Our View:Dillon will probably fill a utility role for the A's as he can play multiple infield positions as well as the corner outfield spots. The 33-year-old hit .213/.337/.293 in 75 at-bats for the Brewers last season. His minor league numbers have usually been very good. |
