Newsbreakers
December 9, 2008
Boof Bonser is drawing interest from several clubs at the Winter Meetings, according to the Pioneer Press.

Our View:The Twins' young pitching is very popular in general at the meetings and they may need to deal some of it to acquire infield help, especially now that Casey Blake has decided to re-sign with the Dodgers.
September 16, 2008
Boof Bonser should be available to pitch on Tuesday despite straining his lower back on Saturday according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:Bonsor has had mixed results since moving to the bull pen in June. In six September appearances, he has a 6.75 ERA.
September 15, 2008
Boof Bonser strained his lower back Saturday, but felt better overnight and played catch prior to Sunday's game, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:He injured a muscle, not his spine, so the Twins are hopeful he will be ready to pitch again soon.
September 14, 2008
The Twins' team website reports Bonser is day-to-day with a strained lower back.

Our View:This is unlikely to impact many fantasy owners.
July 31, 2008
The Twins would like to trade Boof Bonser to make room on the roster for Francisco Liriano, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. The Rangers and Giants could be interested.

Our View:The Rangers are always looking for pitching, and Bonser used to be in the Giants' organization. Bonser's value has plummeted this year, as he's held a 6.67 ERA in 26 games (12 starts).
