Jason Frasor has been dealing with the stomach flu the past week, and though he hasn't pitched in a game he did throw 16 pitches in a simulated game on Wednesday, this according to MLB.com. With B.J. Ryan nearing full health, and Jeremy Accardo around to fill the set up role, Frasor is nothing more than a late round pick in AL Only leagues.
January 18, 2008
Jason Frasor inked a one-year, $1.125 million deal Thursday, avoiding arbitration with the Blue Jays. Frasor had a solid 2007 campaign, posting a 4.58 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 59 Ks in 57 innings.

Jason Frasor is healthy, yet he hasn't pitched in Toronto's last nine games, according to the Blue Jays website. "The other guys have kind of worked their way ahead of him," manager John Gibbons said. "If those other guys are rested and we've got the lead or something, those are the guys we go to now. They've just kind of taken the bull by the horns." Despite the fact that he has moved down in the pecking order, Frasor has still been fairly effective this year, posting a 4.23 ERA along with an 8.7 K/9 rate.
April 17, 2007
Jason Frasor got the last four outs against the Red Sox on Tuesday to record his first save since Sept. 20, 2005, against Seattle, according to the AP. He is taking over as closer while B.J. Ryan is sidelined by a sprained elbow.
