The Blue Jays activated Brian Tallet from the DL Friday. He had been out with a fractured toe.

Our View:Scott Richmond was sent down to make room for Tallet.

Brian Tallet has been placed on the 15-day DL due to a fractured toe, according to the AP. The team recalled Scott Richmond from Triple-A Syracuse as the corresponding move.

Our View:Tallet held little fantasy value this season as he maintained a 3.03 ERA over 38.2 innings of relief.

Rototimes sources report that Brian Tallet will replace Dustin McGowan in the Blue Jays starting rotation. Tallet will start Sunday versus the New York Yankees.

Our View:Tallet has made 32 appearances this year. In 35 innings of work the left-hander has allowed 11 earned runs on 32 hits, walked 15 and struck out 30. All of his work has been in relief.

Brian Tallet is quietly pitching great as he has not allowed an earned run over his last 11 innings of work, according to MLB.com.

Our View:Tallet holds a solid 1.22 WHIP and a 1.27 ERA over 21.1 innings, with 20 strikeouts. He is yet to notch any wins or saves, but is a valuable contributor to the Jays' bullpen. His fantasy value remains limited, however.

Brian Tallet nailed down a spot in the Jay's bullpen, according to MLB.com. He threw two scoreless innings with four strikeouts on Wednesday and Manager Gibbons commented, "He's not going anywhere. Oh, yeah. He's here. He's not going anywhere. He's earned it."
