Robb Quinlan started at third base over the first two games against the White Sox, and was forced out of action in the sixth inning on Saturday because of a tight groin, according to the LA Times. He did not play on Sunday.

Our View:Brandon Wood got the call at third on Sunday, but was ineffective as he went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. The 30-year old Quinlan is hitting .228 over 57 at-bats with one homer and four RBI, and holds no fantasy value.
February 27, 2008
Robb Quinlan has made a contribution with the Angels the last four years, particularly against left-handed pitching, but he isn't guaranteed of a roster spot despite having a major league contract. "The contract makes you feel more secure; it's obviously nice to have," Quinlan told the LA Times. "But I want to play, that's the bottom line, and I want to be in this organization." The 30-year-old isn't going to do anything for you in fantasy even if he cracks the 25-man roster.
January 17, 2007
The Angels avoided going to arbitration with Robb Quinlan by signing him to a two-year contract on Tuesday, according to the LA Times. He'll make $800,000 next season and $1.05 million in 2008.
July 24, 2006
With Kendry Morales optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake, Robb Quinlan should see an increase in playing time, according to the AP. At the very least he will get the nod at first base against lefties, although he will also get the occasional start at third.
May 4, 2006
X-rays on the elbow of Robb Quinlan were negative, according to the LA Times. Quinlan was hit on the left elbow by a pitch on Tuesday night, and the elbow was bruised and swollen enough to sideline him on Wednesday.
