November 18, 2008 Twins right-handed reliever Pat Neshek can now begin his long road to recovery after undergoing Tommy John elbow ligament replacement surgery on Tuesday morning, according Our View:Neshek only appeared in 15 games for the Twins in 2008 and now will be out for at least nine months. |

November 17, 2008 Pat Neshek will undergo Tommy John surgery on Tuesday, according to the Our View:Neshek tore the ligament earlier this month while throwing at the Twins’ headquarters in Fort Myers. Fla., and is expected to miss the entire 2009 season. |

November 11, 2008 Pat Neshek will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss the entire 2009 season, according to Our View:Neshek partially tore a ligament in May and missed the rest of the season. That part of the ligament is fine now, however, he apparently tore the other side of the ligament off the bone. He'll be ready for spring training in 2010. |

November 10, 2008 The Our View:Neshek is 11-5 with a 2.91 ERA in 121 career appearances with the Twins and has held opposing hitters to a .188 batting average. He is a nice reliever when healthy. We will keep you updated on his status. |
