There are reportedly around a dozen MLB clubs interested in Rockies' outfielder Cory Sullivan, according to the Denver Post.

Our View:Three teams have expressed serious interest, but the source did not disclose exactly what teams they are. Sullivan needs work on his hitting, but is solid defensively.

Cory Sullivan has been optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs, according to the AP. Catcher Adam Melhuse was recalled from Colorado Springs as the corresponding move.

Our View:Sullivan only went 5-for-23 (.217) with no homers as a backup outfielder with the Rockies this season. He held no fantasy value prior to his demotion.

Outfielder Cory Sullivan has been recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs, according to the AP. The team brought him in to cover the roster spot left open by Matt Holliday, who went on the DL with a strained hamstring.

Our View:Sullivan won't replace the elite Holliday's production, but he could be a solid sub nonetheless, as he hit .286 with two homers and 14 RBI over 140 at-bats in 2007.
