May 27, 2008 Cleveland outfielder Franklin Gutierrez wasted no time in putting his Indians on top of the Chicago White Sox, eventually moving on the take the 8-2 win. Gutierrez got it all started with a grand slam in the first inning, his only hit of the night, a hit that proved too much for the Sox to overcome. Our View:This is Gutierrez's third homer of the season and represents his first RBIs for the month of May. |

April 22, 2008 Franklin Gutierrez has been pretty quiet since opening day, but he went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three runs, and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Royals. Our View:The Indians and some fantasy owners were high on Gutierrez heading into the season, as he has a lot of talent. The 25-year-old outfielder hasn't been able to deliver consistently, but more nights like this will get him back on our good side and keep him in the majors. |
