Aaron Hill was shut down for the year on May 29 due to a concussion, but expects to be ready for the 2009 season opener, according to the Associated Press. He is working out three times a week and said, "Everything is fine. I got the go-ahead about a month or so ago to go full time. It’s been good fun getting here every day and actually doing some things."

Our View:Hill broke out with 17 homers and 78 RBI in 2007 before suffering through an injury-shortened 2008 campaign, and will have a shot to bounce back as a top-15 fantasy shortstop (in mixed leagues) next season.

Aaron Hill missed much of last season due to concussion problems, but the symptoms have cleared, and he should be ready for spring training, according to BlueJays.com.

Our View:Hill had just 205 at-bats last season, in which he hit .263 with two home runs and 20 RBI. However, in 2007 he hit .291 with 17 long balls and 78 runs knocked in. If he can get back to that type of performance, he'll have value in all mixed leagues.

Second baseman Aaron Hill will not play again this season due to continued problems with a concussion he suffered in May, according to NationalPost.com.

Our View:Hill does not have a timetable for his return, and he is currently seeing specialists about the issue.

The Jays are close to officially ending second baseman Aaron Hill's 2008 season. Hill continues to struggle with the after-effects of a concussion suffered on May 29, according to the Toronto Star.

Our View:Hill is currently rehabbing in Florida but continues to have problems stemming from his collision with SS David Eckstein.
July 12, 2008
Aaron Hill has started to field ground balls and hit off a tee at Toronto's complex in Dunedin, Florida, according to BlueJays.com. He has been sidelined since May 29 with post-concussion syndrome.

Our View:Hill is making progress, but there's still no timetable for his return from the DL.
