The Dodgers sent Greg Miller to minor-league camp on Friday, according to the LA Times. "We like the way he pitched," manager Grady Little said. "He needs to start some games in the minor leagues, and to be ready to do that he needs to get more innings right now than we're able to give him. A young man with a gifted arm like he has and the condition he's in right now, he can learn more about pitching by starting games and working more innings." Miller posted a 8.63 ERA in eight innings this spring.

Greg Miller has pitched primarily in relief in the minors over the last two years, but manager Grady Little said that Miller will become a starter as long as he remains healthy, according to the LA Times. Miller, who missed the 2004 season because of shoulder surgery, will likely begin the year in the rotation at Triple-A. "If I had a chance to make the [major league] team as a reliever, that's definitely something I'd be interested in," Miller said. "But if they want me to get some starts under my belt in the minor leagues, that's fine too."
