Verlander allowed only two walks, but he struck out only two. Our View:Verlander exists this outing with a 4.78 ERA which is more than a full run above his 3.64 mark the past two seasons. Verlander has allowed 18 ER in his last four starts (7.71 ERA) and simply has been unable to capture his previous level of success this season. |
