Anibal Sanchez, who is recovering from right shoulder surgery, had his next rehab start pushed back one day to Thursday, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View:He did not suffer a setback and the club just wants to give him an extra day of rest. That would put him on track to likely join the Marlins and pitch against the Mets on July 29.
July 19, 2008
Anibal Sanchez will make one more rehab start on next Wednesday for Class AA Carolina, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Our View:Sanchez has looked good in his rehab assignment and could be back by July 28.
July 8, 2008
After throwing 4.1 innings in Jupiter's 5-4 win, Sanchez said he's on track to rejoin the Marlins' rotation by July 28, according to the Palm Beach Post. He allowed two runs on four hits, throwing 49 of his 70 pitches for strikes. He struck out three and walked two. His velocity ranged from 88 to 93. Sanchez, whose rehab stint started last Thursday when he allowed two runs in five innings in a Gulf Coast League game, said he will start again for the Hammerheads on Sunday in Fort Myers. He said that will be followed by at least two starts for Class AA Carolina.

Our View:Sanchez is recovering rotator cuff surgery. His rehab was delayed sue to the tragic death of his son.

Anibal Sanchez continues to rehab from right shoulder surgery, and he is progressing well, according to the Palm Beach Post. Sanchez's next start will be at Single-A on Tuesday, and he is on schedule to return to the majors on August 1st.

Our View:If the Marlins continue to hang around the playoff chase, Sanchez could serve in the same capacity as a trade deadline deal in adding another arm to the staff. Continue to monitor his progress.
June 18, 2008
Anibal Sanchez threw a simulated game on Tuesday, MLB.com reports. The right-hander is recovering from right shoulder surgery and won't be ready until August, at the earliest.

Our View:Sanchez, 24, still has a bright (albeit slightly dimmer than it once was) future in the majors, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect anything this year. His only value is in keeper leagues.
