The AP reports that Clint Sammons has been called up from Triple-A Richmond to backup Corky Miller at catcher while Brian McCann recovers from a sore neck and concussion.

Our View:Sammons swings a good stick but won't likely see enough opportunities to warrant any fantasy consideration. Once McCann returns the Braves will likely send Sammons back to Richmond.
