Our View:Parra has lost two straight starts, and is 1-3 over his last seven outings. He should remain a liability to the contending Brewers, as well as fantasy owners, over the closing weeks of the season. |

September 4, 2008 Manny Parra has already thrown 153.2 innings this season, and though that is already more than the 133 he threw last year, the team currently has no plans to set an innings pitched limit for him, according to the Our View:The team likes to limit pitchers to a growth rate of about 25 innings per season, but given that they are in the playoff hunt and that he hasn't showed any type of obvious signals that he is wearing down, the team plans to continue to run Parra out there every five days. |
