April 8, 2007 Zack Segovia struggled in his big-league debut on Sunday against Florida, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk in five innings of work. He was optioned to Triple-A after the game. Freddy Garcia, currently on the DL, is expected to replace Segovia in the rotation later this week. |

April 8, 2007 Zack Segovia will make his major league debut today against the Marlins, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I'm really excited," Segovia said. Last season he was a combined 16-6 with a 2.82 ERA for Single-A Clearwater and Double-A Reading. |
