Brian Buscher left Friday's outing against Kansas City in the fourth inning due to dizziness, according to the AP.

Our View:He was replaced by Matt Tolbert at third base Thursday, who went 0-for-4 with an RBI. No more news is currently available regarding Buscher's status.

Brian Buscher started at first base Wednesday as Justin Morneau served as the DH, but Buscher was unable to finish the game due to a jammed left thumb, according to the Star Tribune.

Our View:The severity of his ailment is yet to be determined. He could see more action at first if Morneau spends more time at DH to rest his sore legs. Buscher has been solid with a .306 average over 209 at-bats, with four homers and 46 RBI.

Brian Buscher went 3-for-4 with a homer and five RBI in Tuesday's win over the A's. He also scored two runs.

Our View:That's the second time this season that Buscher has driven in five runs. He has been crushing right-handed pitching (.354 average) and should continue to start at third against righties.

Brian Buscher is doing the most with his playing time, and went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Twins victory over Cleveland. Buscher has now hit in eight of his last nine games.

Our View:Buscher is making the most of his playing time, and although he does not play in every game, he is somebody to keep an eye on, especially in AL-only leagues.
