August 9, 2008 Ian Kennedy was recalled to start for the Yankees on Friday and he was absolutely bombed by the Angels who scored five times before knocking him out of the game after just six outs. Our View:Kennedy gave up nine hits and a walk on the day, and has looked like a completely different pitcher this year than the one who posted a 1.89 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in three starts last season. Through 10 appearances this season, Ian has a 8.19 ERA and 1.92 WHIP. It doesn't get much uglier than that. |
