September 27, 2008 Brian Bass won his fourth game of the year on Saturday night in the Orioles' 2-1 win over the Blue Jays. Bass went six inning surrendering only one run on three hits. Our View:The game versus the Blue Jays was stopped in the sixth inning due to rain. |

September 22, 2008 Brian Bass, making just his third start of the season, held the Rays to two runs over 4.2 innings. However, the noteworthy aspect of the outing was the fact that he didn't surrender a single hit in the outing. Our View:Bass walked four batters and tossed a wild pitch while striking out five as he obviously had some trouble controlling his violently moving pitches. Not a bad outing at all for a stop gap measure given the overall results. |

September 11, 2008 After over 70 starts in the minor leagues for Brian Bass, he finally made a start in the big leagues. Even though Bass only went 4.1 innings, he kept the game close for the Orioles, who eventually won the game 6-3 against the Indians. Our View:Now that Bass looks to be in the starting rotation it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to being a starter again. Right now Bass doesn't have any fantasy value. |
