Mike Lincoln, P Thursday 12/4, 1:07 PM CT
Mike Lincoln has re-signed with the Reds, according to the Denver Post. He was given a two-yeal deal for $4 million.

Our View: The 33-year-old Lincoln held a favorable 1.28 WHIP over 70.1 innings of relief in 2008. The team was able to retain him for the bullpen, but recently lost Jeremy Affeldt to the Giants.
Ben Davis, C Tuesday 12/2, 3:30 PM CT
Ben Davis has reportedly signed with the Reds, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

Our View: The catcher has turned into a reliever, and it is uncertain what the Reds intend to do with him. Davis holds a .237 batting average over 486 games in the majors.
David Weathers, P Tuesday 12/2, 12:43 PM CT
The Reds offered reliever David Weathers salary arbitration, according to the Hot Stove Blog on MLB.com.

Our View: If he declines, the Reds would receive a sandwich draft pick between the first and second rounds from the MLB club that inks him. There are believed to be around 12 teams interested in the 39-year-old hurler, despite holding a barely passable 1.53 WHIP with the Reds in 2008.
