July 16, 2008 Samuel Dalembert has been dropped from the Canadian National basketball team just before the Olympics due to "a reported confrontation with a Canadian official," according to Our View:No details of the incident have been made public, so any further comment would purely be speculative. His loss will certainly be a big negative for a Canadian squad who likely won't be able to replace the 10.5 point and 10.3 rebound averages that Dalembert produced last season for the Sixers. |
