T.J. Ford is officially a member of the Pacers, according to TSN. The Pacers also acquire Rasho Nesterovic in the multi-player deal that shipped Jermaine O'Neal to Toronto.

Our View:Ford is not going to be a heavy scorer in Indiana, but displays strong passing skills and should hold down the role as the starting point guard.

T.J. Ford will be moved from Toronto to Indiana as the main cog in the Jermaine O'Neal trade, reports ESPN.com.

Our View:Ford assumes the starting point guard position, and he has value in fantasy basketball when healthy. He isn't a great shooter, but if he can put together a complete season, it isn't unfathomable to believe he can average 10 assists per game this year.

T.J. Ford is under contract for at least two more years, but the Raptors may not bring him back for the 2008-09 season, the Toronto Star reports. The club is intent on signing restricted free agent Jose Calderon, who often outplayed Ford this season.

Our View:Ford is an asset to fantasy teams because he's a wonderful passer and doesn't hurt you much (if at all) in other categories. His history of neck injuries remains a major concern, though, and Raptors seemed to trust Calderon more in key stretches of games. It'll be interesting to see if he's traded elsewhere.
