October 17, 2008 Robert Swift returned to practice on Friday but he sat out the end of the day due to some lingering soreness in his fractured hand, according to Our View:Swift appeared in only eight games last season and will have to overcome more than just his injured hand to see substantial minutes this season. |

September 29, 2008 The Oklahoman reports that Robert Swift said he is likely to miss a portion of the preseason schedule with a fractured right hand on the team's first media day. He said he should be healed in another week or two but will participate in drills with a protective brace for now. Our View:The injury was previously believed to keep him out of the entire preseason but he seems to think he will be back sooner. Swift does not hold any fantasy value as long as Nick Collison and Chris Wilcox remain healthy. |
