Chris Duhon had a huge game on Tuesday for the Knicks, but they still fell 104-97 to the Blazers. Duhon posted a double-double with 23 points, 13 assists, five rebounds, and one steal.

Our View:Duhon was bothered by a sore back coming into Tuesday's contest. Fantasy owners must hope the back issues continue, as he's posted double-doubles in two straight games now. Perhaps Duhon needs to be in pain to be productive?
December 2, 2008
Chris Duhon is probable for Tuesday's game against Portland, according to the Sports Network. He has been nursing a back ailment.

Our View:Duhon is averaging 13 points over his last three games, and registered 22 assists in his last outing as well. He should play tonight and is worth fantasy consideration.
November 29, 2008
Due to a sore back, Knicks point guard Chris Duhon missed the team's practice on Friday, according to the New York Post.

Our View:Despite the malady, Duhon is expected to be in the lineup on Saturday. He is usable in fantasy leagues, as he is averaging 10.8 points and 7.3 assists per game.
November 22, 2008
Chris Duhon saw 46 minutes of action for the short-handed Knicks as they beat the Wizards 122-117 on Saturday. He finished with 10 points, 11 assists and five boards.

Our View:Duhon has scored in double digits in his last four games while playing more extensive minutes for Knicks while they are in transition.
November 18, 2008
Chris Duhon scored in double figures for his second straight game, finishing with 15 points on Tuesday. He also had five assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

Our View:Duhon had been a bust this year in reality as well as fantasy, but perhaps he can get on a little bit of a roll.
November 16, 2008
Chris Duhon had probably his best game in a Knicks uniform, tying season-highs with 16 points and 12 assists, but New York fell to Dallas in overtime by the score of 124-114.

Our View:Duhon had been a major disappointment for fantasy owners so far this season, so maybe this game will help him get going.
November 15, 2008
Chris Duhon has continued to be a disappointment for both the Knicks and fantasy owners. He has only scored in double figures twice in nine games for the Knicks this season. Duhon's assist numbers haven't been up to snuff either, as he's averaging a tad under seven assists-per-game as well.

Our View:Duhon's fantasy value gets lower by the day. He is only owned in about a third of leagues at this point.
November 12, 2008
Chris Duhon had one of his best games of the season as the Knicks throttled the Grizzlies 132-103 on Wednesday. He shot 5-of-9 with two threes, seven assists and three steals.

Our View:He wasn't facing much competition against Mike Conley and Kyle Lowry. He entered the games shooting 36.2 percent from the floor and 72.2 percent from the free throw line.
November 7, 2008
Chris Duhon continued his scoring struggles on Friday, only putting up six points. He did end up with 12 assists though.

Our View:Duhon's fantasy value is still in a steady decline, as he can't be counted on for points on a regular basis.
November 2, 2008
Chris Duhon scored only six points to go with three assists in 37 minutes of action as the Knicks fell at home to the Bucks on Sunday. Point guard Stephon Marbury remained on the inactive list.

Our View:Through three games, the Knicks starting point guard is averaging 6.7 points, 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. He is shooting 30 percent and has yet to score double digits despite averaging 36.3 minutes. His poor production is likely putting further pressure on coach Mike D'Antoni to not only activate Marbury, but to give him good minutes as well.
October 30, 2008
Chris Duhon started and played 38 minutes at point guard on Wednesday as the Knicks defeated the Heat 120-115. However, he scored just nine points and finished with three assists and one steal.

Our View:Stephon Marbury did not play at all. Duhon will need to produce more if he expects to get 38 minutes per game.
October 20, 2008
Guard Chris Duhon finished with 10 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals in Monday's preseason game against the Nets. He had only one turnover.

Our View:Duhon has had some shaky moments this preseason, and it's nice to see him have a solid night running Mike D'Antoni's show. He could be a decent late-round gamble for teams in search of assists.
October 17, 2008
Coach Mike D'Antoni has named Chris Duhon as his starting point guard over Stephon Marbury. Duhon has looked barely adequate at best during three preseason games. "He makes energy plays that make a team perform at a better rate," D'Antoni said. "Sometimes it doesn't show in stats or just watching a game. You have to watch it on film and dissect. I really like the little things of being able to tell guys you need to be here. You can't measure that."

Our View:Duhon is a killer in field goal percentage and point but should find enough minutes and assists to be a late round contributor in most fantasy leagues.
October 14, 2008
Chris Duhon has reportedly locked up the starting gig at point guard with the Knicks, according to the NY Times.

Our View:Duhon has some sleeper potential in coach Mike D'Antoni's fast-paced offense, but he is not a solid shooter, as he only hit 38.7 percent from the field in 2007. Stephon Marbury will likely cut into his minutes off the bench as well.
October 8, 2008
Point guard Chris Duhon started in the Knicks' preseason opener against the Raptors. He shot 1-for-7 with five points and seven turnovers. On the plus side, he walked away with 10 rebounds and seven assists in 31 minutes.

Our View:Stephon Marbury played 22 minutes and was not much better. As it stands right now, Duhon appears to be the opening night starter, despite the career long shooting struggles.
July 9, 2008
As expected, Chris Duhon officially signed with the New York Knicks on Wednesday, according to azcentral.com.

Our View:If Marbury is bought out, traded, or waived, there is speculation that Duhon will step in to run Mike D'Antoni's offense. That will be a drastic change from Steve Nash, who regularly shoots over 50% from the field. Duhon has shot under 39% for his career. In his 18 starts last season he averaged just 6.5 points and 5.7 assists to go with 32% shooting. Duhon should still be avoided in fantasy leagues.
July 4, 2008
Chris Duhon has agreed to terms on a two-year, $6.5 million deal with the New York Knicks, according to the New York Post. He will challenge for the starting point guard job.

Our View:Management sold him on the fact that he could compete with Stephon Marbury to become the starter at the point. His fantasy value will be high if he can win that battle and play big minutes in Mike D'Antoni's offense.
July 2, 2008
Updating the ongoing free agency market in the NBA, the Knicks have reportedly offered guard Chris Duhon a two-year deal worth $7 million while the Magic have offered three years for $10 million, and Duhon is expected to make a decision in the coming week, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Our View:Duhon's agent is claiming his client is concerned with winning a ring, and that gives the edge to Orlando. Duhon also wouldn't mind serving as Jameer Nelson's backup for the Magic. He is expected to make a decision within the next seven days, so we'll keep you posted.
July 1, 2008
The New York Knicks are targeting Chris Duhon as a free agent acquisition, and may offer him a two-year deal worth around $6 million, according to the New York Daily News.

Our View:The Bulls have a plethora of guards at their disposal, making Duhon expendable. Should he sign with the Knicks, he would join Nate Robinson and Stephon Marbury at the point guard position.
April 14, 2008
Chris Duhon scored 22 points and handed out 15 assists on Monday night. He came off the bench and played a little over 30 minutes. Duhon hit all four of his threes and chipped in three boards and one steal.

Our View:Duhon hadn't seen that many minutes since February 14, and this outburst was clearly unexpected.
March 17, 2008
Chris Duhon missed practice Sunday and did not travel with the Bulls for Monday's game because he felt ill, according to the Chicago Tribune. It's not clear if the illness was brought on by pouting about his reduced action in recent weeks. He should be back with the Bulls on Tuesday.
March 16, 2008
Chris Duhon was absent from team practice on Sunday and will not travel with the team to New Orleans, according to the Chicago Tribune. Duhon's absence has been excused and the team has given no indication that his recent struggles to maintain a positive image with the Bulls has anything to do with the decision.
March 11, 2008
Chris Duhon has been suspended by the team for tonight's game against the Utah Jazz, according to ChicagoSports.com. Duhon was fined for missing Sunday's shootaround in Michigan and then making flip comments about the incident, and now the punishment continues on Tuesday night as he lands on the inactive list for the Utah Jazz game. Interim coach Jim Boylan said the move was his decision.
March 10, 2008

March 9, 2008
Chris Duhon missed Sunday's morning shootaround to attend a Duke basketball game, and will not play. Larry Hughes has really cut into his minutes since joining the club, and this does not help his chances to play more.
February 8, 2008
Chicago shooting guard Chris Duhon scored a career-high 34 points as the shorthanded Bulls found the win column in a 114-108 victory against the Warriors on Thursday night. Duhon's 11-of-16 shooting, four 3-pointers and nine assists led the Bulls to a much needed win.
January 29, 2008
Chris Duhon rested his bruised left knee Tuesday, as expected. He's been playing hurt in recent games, and he finally admitted on Sunday that he can't continue to do so. Stay tuned.
January 28, 2008
Chris Duhon was able to play through his badly bruised left knee on Friday and Sunday, but that's all he could take for now, according to the Chicago Tribune. "I'm shutting it down for at least a couple of games," Duhon said. "I'm hurting the team because I'm not as explosive as I can be." Even when healthy he's not explosive enough to help fantasy teams in all but the deepest of leagues -- if you are in a really deep league, bench him for the time being.
January 27, 2008
Bulls coach Jim Boylan said Saturday that he thinks Chris Duhon will return to action for Sunday's game, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Averaging just 5.4 ppg and shooting 35.7 percent from the field, Duhon shouldn't be on your roster in the first place.
January 20, 2008
Chris Duhon banged knees with Chauncey Billups on Saturday and had to be carried off the court, according to the Chicago Tribune. He may undergo an MRI Sunday, but the Bulls believed he had no ligament damage. There's little reason to own him in Fantasyland, so we won't be missing much if he can't play on Monday.
