Andres Nocioni came off the bench to lead the Bulls in scoring with 13 points as the Bulls got blown out 116-74. He also had four boards and one assist.

Our View:Nocioni doesn't have a lot of fantasy value, so it's a bad sign when he leads Chicago in points.

Andres Nocioni commented on the bronze medal he won with Argentina (against Lithuania) in the Beijing Olympics, according to the Chicago Tribune. Nocioni said, "I do not feel my twisted right knee right now because I feel my bronze medal right here. The bronze medal is huge for us, man. We are not like the U.S. or China. We have few medals, so we need to enjoy."

Our View:Nocioni fought hard to play through his injury, and hopefully he will progress favorably and be healthy for the start on the new NBA season.

The Chicago Bulls are actively shopping Andres Nocioni and Kirk Hinrich now that they have finished the deal for Luol Deng, according to Sam Amick of the Sacramento Bee.

Our View:Nocioni and Hinrich have a combined $73.5 million due to them over the course of their contracts, and that is far too much money to pay to players who may become backups (Nocioni to Deng and Hinrich to Derrick Rose).

Despite rumors of hiring Doug Collins, the Chicago Bulls have invited Chuck Person back to the United Center for a second interview for the head coaching job, according to the Associated Press.

Our View:Person is a former player and currently serves as an assistant for the Sacramento Kings. A person familiar with the search, who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because the search is ongoing, said Person was flying to Chicago on Tuesday. The interview would happen either later Tuesday night or Wednesday.

The Bulls have targeted Mike D'Antoni to be their next head coach, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. No contract has been offered yet and the team may not hire him within the next few days, however. The team is still likely to interview Avery Johnson.

Our View:D'Antoni is more offensive minded, while GM John Paxson favors defense. He would still be a solid fit in Chicago.

His status for Thursday's game against the Cavs remains undetermined as of now. He is averaging 13.5 points per game this season.

Andres Nocioni led the Bulls with 28 points in Tuesday's loss to the Hornets. Nocioni produces when he receives the minutes he did tonight (40). The last time the Bulls shooting forward logged 40 ticks he scored 22 against the Trail Blazers. As long as the Bulls continue to suffer multiple injuries, Nocioni will produce.

Andres Nocioni is listed as day-to-day for the Bulls after leaving Tuesday’s game following a fall in the third quarter. The Chicago Tribune reported that Nocioni fell on his back, side and elbow. Nocioni said afterwards he was “lucky” and that the injury was “nothing serious.”

Our View:Nocioni is probably a game-time decision for Wednesday, but with the way the Bulls have been playing lately they all are questionable fantasy starts.
