September 23, 2008 T.J. Ford won't be handed the starting point guard job, as Jarrett Jack will be given the chance to compete for the position, according to the Our View:They'll compete, but we certainly expect Ford to win the job. But, like O'Brien said, Jack should still get plenty of playing time. |

June 27, 2008 Jarrett Jack was part of a draft day deal that sent himself, Josh McRoberts and the rights to Brandon Rush from Portland to Indiana for Ike Diogu and the rights to Jarryd Bayless. Our View:Jack lost his starting job to Steve Blake in Portland last year, and with the presumed addition of T.J. Ford to the Pacers, he will likely remain in a backup role at point guard. |

April 12, 2008 Jarrett Jack led the Blazers with 10 assists on Saturday as he also scored 19 points including one 3-pointer in their loss to the Mavericks. Our View:Jack continues his strong play down the stretch and this was his first 10 assists game since way back on February 29th. |
