Monta Ellis will meet with Warriors' athletic trainer Tom Abdenour Tuesday to begin mapping out his on-court rehab for his surgically repaired ankle, according to the SF Chronicle. Coach Don Nelson said, "Monta's the wild card. I really don't know when he's coming back. I don't know how long it's going to take. Once he gets on the court doesn't mean he's going to be the Monta of a year ago. It's still probably going to be a month or so before he can get up to speed."

Our View:Ellis remains suspended until December 17. He should be stashed on fantasy rosters as he averaged 20.2 points in 2007-08.

Monta Ellis had the screws in his surgically-repaired left ankle removed Wednesday in Birmingham, Alabama, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View:He is expected to rejoin the Warriors after next week's East Coast road-trip. Keep the talented guard stashed on fantasy rosters, and scoop him up if dangling on the waiver wire while injured.

Our View:Ellis should be able to start resuming basketball activities in two weeks. His return date is still uncertain, but he should have a lot of fantasy value once he's able to play in games again.
