An MRI revealed that Monta Ellis didn't suffer a dislocation or separation of his right shoulder on Saturday, according to the Contra Costa Times. However, the Warriors haven't set a timetable for his return. "I can't move it at all. Everything hurts right now," Ellis said.

The Warriors announced that Monta Ellis will miss Tuesday's game because of a shoulder injury suffered Saturday, according to the Contra Costa Times. Ellis needs further evaluation and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday morning.

Monta Ellis had to leave in the third quarter of Saturday's game after suffering an upper body injury, according to the AP. Ellis was injured when he got tangled with Heat forward James Posey and sprawled to the floor, holding his right shoulder in pain. The severity of the injury isn't known.

Warriors coach Don Nelson said his long-term plan this season is to have Monta Ellis come off the bench, according to the Contra Costa Times. Obviously, he'll have diminished value in that role, but he'll start when Baron Davis inevitably gets hurt again. Ellis was limited to six minutes in last night's game due to a sprained left foot.

Monta Ellis could miss a couple of games with a sprained left foot, according to the Contra Costa Times. He was wearing an immobilizing boot yesterday and reported "swelling, stiffness and pain" in his foot.

Warriors reserve guard Monta Ellis scored 31 points and added seven rebounds and seven assists on Saturday night, doing most of his damage after Baron Davis went down with a rib injury. Davis will be examined today, and it's possible that Ellis will be getting more playing time in the near future.
