November 23, 2008 Ryan Gomes had a big night on Sunday as he poured in 20 points while playing more than 35 minutes for the Timberwolves. Gomes was 9-for-11 from the field with seven rebounds. Our View:The 20 points were a season best total for Gomes as were the seven boards. Needless to say this was his most impressive effort of the season and the third time in four games that he scored at least 12 points. |

October 19, 2008 Ryan Gomes scored a game-high 20 points in Minnesota's victory over Denver on Sunday. He hit three three-pointers in the effort. Our View:Gomes is a big small forward with a nice jumper. Should he see 30 minutes per game, he could be a contributor on a fantasy roster. |

July 28, 2008 Ryan Gomes and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a multi-year deal according to the Our View:Gomes, 25, averaged 12.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 2007-08, a year after joining the Timberwolves as a part of the trade with the Boston Celtics for Kevin Garnett. It remains to be seen how much playing time he will seen with Kevin Love in town. |
