Our View:After Morrison missed all of last year with a torn ACL, this is the first big sign that he can contribute as a sixth or seventh man off of the bench for Charlotte.

Adam Morrison could miss Saturday's game for the Bobcats as he is suffering tendinitis in his left knee, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Our View:Morrison tore his ACL in the same knee last year and missed the entire season. He will be a game-time decision.

The Charlotte Observer reports that swingman Adam Morrison, the third pick in the 2006 draft, said he wasn't surprised the Bobcats exercised his option on Wednesday, and he won't be surprised if he or another wing player is traded. “We have a lot of (shooting guards and small forwards) on this team. That's obvious even if you didn't know our team. Just look at the roster,” Morrison said. “Aside from your contract, there's really not anything you can do about (potential trades). It's a cliché about every sports league, but it is a business. They've got to win and they've got to address the issues.” One of those issues is the overabundance of jump-shooters and the need for more defenders and big men.

Our View:Morrison missed all of last season with a torn ACL. He is correct in his assessment on the roster and Morrison may be the most attractive trade bait for another team.
