June 26, 2008 With the 15th pick in this year's NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns have selected Stanford forward Robin Lopez . Our View:Lopez is going to be a bench player in his first season, but he gives the Suns an option to play down low. He is strong and carries formidable size, using both to present solid defensive skills. He lacks in his touch around the rim and is not known as an offensive force, but he can clean the glass and is more than capable of contributing at the professional level. At this point of the draft, he is a solid pick and should do the Phoenix faithful proud. |
