Kobe Bryant was named the Western Conference Player of the Month for April, this according to NBA.com. Bryant led the Lakers to a 7-1 record on the month with averages of 26.1 points and 5.5 assists. It was Bryant's second player of the month honors. Bryant scored 28.3 points per game this season with 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists in a season that just might earn him MVP honors. He is obviously one of the top options in playoff pools as the Lakers figure to challenge for the championship.

Bryant carried many fantasy teams this season. We just hope you didn't have your championship this week, as he managed outings of "only" 16, 29 and 20 points.
