November 12, 2008 Jeff Foster filled in admirably for Troy Murphy (flu) on Wednesday as the Pacers defeated the Nets 96-87 on Wednesday. He had 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Our View:Foster may be playing himself into a starting center position. If so, he could provide a nice boost in rebounding to owners that can afford to sacrafice points. |

October 10, 2008 Jeff Foster reportedly agreed to terms on a contract extension with the Pacers, according to the AP. Terms were not disclosed. Our View:He has spent his entire 10-year career with the Pacers, averaging five points and seven rebounds, and would like to finish his career with the team. As a fantasy center, he holds no value. |

April 14, 2008 Jeff Foster will not play on Monday night against the Wizards due to a sore knee, the Indianapolis Star reports. Foster was hit on the kneecap during Saturday's loss to the Bobcats. Our View:Foster is quietly having a solid month, even though he doesn't have much fantasy value. His teammates will need to step it up on the boards. |
