Kyle Weaver has been traded by the Bobcats to Oklahoma City for a second round draft pick in the 2009 NBA Entry draft, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: The 38th overall selection in this years draft, Weaver never had the chance to suit up with the Bobcats after average 12.2 points a game as a senior at Washington State.

Shannon Brown, G

The Charlotte Bobcats signed guard Shannon Brown to a one-year deal Wednesday for the NBA minimum of about $800,000, according to SLAM Sports.

Our View: Brown played in 21 games for Cleveland and Chicago last season and had two stints in the NBA Development League. The move leaves the Bobcats with 14 players under contract.
