Tim Thomas, F Sunday 10/12, 10:20 AM CT
Tim Thomas missed Saturday's practice while dealing with a strained left groin, according to the LA Times.

Our View: The team did not disclose the severity of his ailment. If healthy, Thomas would rank as a favorable reserve, as he averaged 12.4 points and 5.2 boards in 2007.
Marcus Camby, C Sunday 10/12, 10:15 AM CT
Marcus Camby sat out Saturday's practice while nursing a bruised right heel, according to the LA Times.

Our View: The injury is not believed to be serious, but he could be out for 4-5 days. Camby doesn't score much (only averaged 9.1 points per game in 2007), but he is among the best defensive centers in the NBA, and should serve as a strong fantasy starter in his first campaign with the Clippers. He averaged 13.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 3.6 blocks over 79 games with Denver last season.
David Noel, F Sunday 10/12, 10:06 AM CT
David Noel has been cut by the Clippers, according to the LA Times.

Our View: He signed as a free agent a few days prior to the start of training camp, but did not impress the Clippers enough to earn a roster spot.
Ricky Davis, G Thursday 10/9, 11:48 PM CT
Ricky Davis poured in 13 points in 18 minutes as the Clippers prevailed over the Lakers 107-80 on Thursday. He hit three three-pointers in the victory.

Our View: Davis did little of anything else. Don't count on him to top his numbers from last season when he registered over 36 minutes per game. He will not likely see 30 minutes per game this season.
Chris Kaman, C Tuesday 10/7, 8:18 PM CT
The AP reports that Mike Dunleavy has replaced Elgin Baylor as the Clippers' general manager on Tuesday. The team did not specify a reason for Baylor’s departure.

Our View: Baylor’s tenure was littered with questionable decisions, especially in the draft. In the last decade alone, he spent first-round picks on mediocre talent, including Michael Olowokandi, Brian Skinner and Darius Miles. Olowokandi was the first overall selection in the 1998 draft.
Marcus Camby, C Monday 10/6, 7:54 PM CT
Marcus Camby returned from the flu on Monday and participated fully in practice, according to the Los Angeles Times. "I imagine I'll work him back in real slow," Clippers HC Mike Dunleavy said. "It'll take a bit."

Our View: Camby will continue to function as a massive defensive presence in his first season with the Clippers a season after he posted a career best 13.1 boards to go along with 3.6 blocks per game. Draft him as a top-5 center in most formats.
Marcus Camby, C Thursday 10/2, 8:09 AM CT
Clippers center Marcus Camby missed the team's practice because he fell ill, according to the L.A. Times.

Our View: Camby is suffering from the flu, so he should be okay to practice in a short amount of time.
Eric Gordon, G Wednesday 10/1, 10:02 PM CT
The L.A. Times reports that Eric Gordon suffered an ankle injury on Tuesday and it could keep him out of practice anywhere from five days to a week.

Our View: Gordon had an injured shoulder throughout the end of Indiana's season and also had to miss summer league action with a sore hamstring. Hopefully this is not a trend that sticks with throughout his career.
