The Green Bay Packers have signed exclusive rights free agent tight end Tory Humphrey to a league minimum contract, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Humphrey, who is currently the backup to starter Donald Lee, could see increased action in two tight end sets with the recent release of Bubba Franks.

The Jets have agreed to terms with Bubba Franks on a free-agent contract, according to the Detroit Free Press. He hasn't had much fantasy value in recent years, and that likely won't change as a backup to Chris Baker.

The Green Bay Packers have expressed a strong interest in tight end Kris Wilson and will bring him in for a visit, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Wilson has the ability to lineup at tight end and H-back, much like the recently released Bubba Franks. Wilson, who is not a big-time receiving threat, has averaged just 8 yards per catch over the last two seasons. Lee will be the starter again next season and the coaches have high hopes for Tory Humphrey, who broke his leg in training camp and missed all of last season. The 6-2, 250-pound Humphrey has decent speed and good pass-catching potential and will be given every opportunity to win the No. 2 spot.
