Eric Moulds' agent called the Dolphins, as the team is thin at receiver beyond Ted Ginn, Derek Hagan, and Ernest Wilford, according to FanNation.com. The agents of several other free agent receivers called the Dolphins as well. Koren Robinson and Chris Henry were mentioned among the receivers.

Our View:If Moulds was added, he would compete with Tab Perry and David Kircus for a backup spot on the depth chart.

Eric Moulds has yet to schedule or take a single visit in unrestricted free agency, according to The City Paper. “There is nothing going on with Eric right now. I’m not sure what he’s going to do,” agent Bus Cook said. Moulds could get a nibble later in the year when teams start firming up their rosters, but his best days are clearly behind him.

Five days into training camp, Eric Moulds has already made his presence felt. The Tennessean reported that Moulds has arguably been the best receiver in camp, making countless difficult catches while learning the offense and working himself back into football shape. With incumbent Brandon Jones as the only legitimate starter, Moulds could easily win the No. 2 job or even surpass Jones as the No. 1 target. "The Titans wouldn't have signed me if they didn't think I still had some gas left in my tank and I am going to make the most of the opportunity,” Moulds told the paper. “When the season starts I think people will probably question why Houston let me go.''

Our View:Vince Young isn’t exactly Joe Montana, so we’re not expecting loads of receiving yards to be available for Moulds. But if the veteran endears himself to the second-year quarterback and becomes a security blanket-type receiver, Moulds could once again end up with some fantasy value.

Eric Moulds signed a contract with the Titans Wednesday. Terms were not immediately disclosed. The addition of Moulds, even at this stage of his career, is significant for a Tennessee offense that's desperate for playmakers on the outside.

The Texans released Eric Moulds on Wednesday, according to ESPNews. He caught 57 passes for 557 yards and a TD in 2006. The team said the move was made for salary cap reasons.
