As expected, Terrell Owens was deactivated for the Eagles' game against Seattle on Monday night now that his four-game suspension is over, according to the AP. He will be deactivated for the remaining four games of the season as well.

The Trenton Times reported Sunday that Terrell Owens got into a fight with Hugh Douglas Thursday. The paper also reported that at one point Owens challenged Donovan McNabb and any other teammate who might be interested. Owens refused to apologize to his teammates after that incident and his notorious interview before the Eagles suspended him. The Eagles have yet to decide what his status will be this week or for the remainder of the season, but clearly things look bleak.

The Eagles announced that they have suspended Terrell Owens indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Owens will miss Sunday's game, and it's unclear when - or if - he will return. The collective bargaining agreement allows a team to suspend a player up to four games for detrimental conduct, but the Eagles could choose to leave Owens inactive for the remaining games if they're looking to sever ties. The penalty is being invoked because of Owens' public criticism of the team and Donovan McNabb.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that before Terrell Owens agreed to read an apology at a news conference Friday, coach Andy Reid did not rule out suspending the receiver for the public remarks he made about the Eagles on Thursday.
