November 18, 2006 Christian Fauria was placed on injured reserve Saturday, according to the Redskins official site. Fauria had been battling ankle problems in recent weeks, and he finished the year with just two catches. Receiver Mike Espy was promoted from the practice squad to take the open roster spot. |

November 10, 2006 Christian Fauria did some work at Friday's practice and was upgraded to probable. He's dealing with a sore ankle. Fauria's importance to the offense is more of a blocker than anything else, but against the aggressive Philadelphia blitz packages it doesn't hurt to have another tight end in the mix. |
