Warrick Dunn sat out practice today, according to the Tampa Tribune. It is believed he was just given the day off, and not sitting out due to an injury.

Our View:Dunn has been active in the Buccaneers' offense over the first two games, as he rushed 21 times for 103 yards and hauled in four receptions for 32 yards. Dunn remains a favorable option in deeper PPR leagues. He should also be "handcuffed" to Earnest Graham.

Warrick Dunn will face his former team when the Buccaneers host the Falcons this weekend, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Dunn still feels an attachment to Atlanta, and intends to continue his charity work in the city.

Our View:Dunn holds some value in PPR leagues, but coach Jon Gruden intends to feature Earnest Graham more following his strong outing in limited action in Week 1, meaning Dunn should not be considered for lineups in standard leagues. Atlanta's defense also did a solid job of shutting down the Lions' running game last Sunday.

The St. Petersburg Times suggests that Warrick Dunn will be used more as a receiver than as a rusher this season.

Our View:Dunn is a solid fit for coach Jon Gruden's offense, and could hold favorable value in PPR leagues if he is in fact featured more in the passing game.

Tampa Bay veteran rusher Warrick Dunn may not be the young man he once was when he first donned the Bucs jersey, but he has every intent to fight for the starting job as he returns in 2008, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Our View:Dunn spoke with reporters following optional workouts at the Bucs' new training facilities yesterday and waxed poetic on his intentions to contribute in 2008. "I would never consider myself a third-down back. It's not my mentality. I don't play the game that way," said Dunn. "I don't think Coach Jon Gruden brought me here just to play on third down. He believes in me, and I just have to go out and prove it." If Dunn is anywhere close to the form he has displayed in recent seasons, he will be on the field. Look at the current depth chart and you can see the common theme running throughout: Veteran commodities. Dunn fits the mold, has done it for Gruden in the past, and could be on the verge of yet another surprising campaign.

Warrick Dunn has signed a 3-year, $6 million contract in order to play with the Buccaneers, this according to the Dallas Morning News. Dunn will support Ernest Graham as a pass catching threat who can give Graham an occasional break as both runners certainly bring different running styles to the table. Coming off a season where he averaged just 3.1 YPC and caught only 37 passes, the question for Dunn is how much does he have left?
