October 3, 2008 Texans running back Ahman Green will play Week 5 against the Colts, according to Our View:Coach Gary Kubiak made it clear that Green will only play when Slaton wants out for a breather, so fantasy owners with Slaton should not worry about Green taking his carries. |

September 24, 2008 Ahman Green, who is nursing a sprained ankle, is expected to participate in portions of practice this week, according to the Our View:This is encouraging news, but coach Gary Kubiak remains unsure when Green will be ready to resume playing. Steve Slaton topped 100 rushing yards in his first career start againsr a solid Titans' defense last weekend, and Green would have to fight the rookie for playing time when he returns. |
