Al Harris is dealing with a serious spleen injury, but coach Mike McCarthy believes he could be back in about a month, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. McCarthy said, "I'd say it's safe it's going to be at least three to four weeks. The thing that we know for sure is we've had to totally shut him down for seven days, so he'll start probably Monday morning with some form of conditioning, and it will just progress as we move forward. There will be some tests that are done along the way. I don't have an exact timeframe for you."

Our View:Tramon Williams will cover his spot at cornerback until he is ready to return, and Williams will be targeted as the weak link in the Packers' secondary. Williams should be avoided in standard IDP leagues.

Al Harris will miss Week 4 at Tampa Bay due to his spleen injury, according to the Packers' official website.

Our View:As previously stated, the injury is serious and the team doctors are still gathering information to determine a timetable for his return. Coach Mike McCarthy is hopeful he will return this season, and believes there is a good chance he will avoid surgery. Tramon Williams will replace him at cornerback, leaving the Packers' secondary vulnernable against the Buccaneers.

Al Harris should learn Wednesday whether he will miss the rest of the season because of a torn spleen that he sustained in Monday's loss to the Cowboys, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Our View:Harris probably either will need surgery or will just wait for the spleen to heal. Either way, he is likely out the rest of the season.

Al Harris is likely done for the year after suffering what is believed to be a ruptured spleen, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Here is the rundown from Harris' agent Jack Becheta. "He [will] most likely miss the season, it would just depend on the severity," Bechta said. "But we don't have any definitive information except there was a rupture. Now we have to get him to a specialist as soon as possible."

Our View:A ruptured spleen usually leads to an eight to 12 week recovery, so if the initial diagnosis is correct Harris is done. Tramon Williams will step into to the vacated role and Will Blackmon will be moved into a spot in the nickel package.

Al Harris may have sustained a ruptured spleen in Sunday's loss to Dallas, an injury that would end his 2008 season, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Our View:He is reportedly getting a second opinion on his injury. Tramon Williams would likely replace him at cornerback opposite Charles Woodson, hence weakening the Packers' secondary.
