Newsbreakers

Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley will not play on the outside, instead concentrating on getting snaps solely in the slot, according to the Rocky Mountain News. "I think he's the best slot receiver in the National Football League," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said.

Our View:Denver believes Stokley is much better suited to the slot, so he hasn't seen even one snap on the outside in training camp. His fantasy value is somewhat mixed, as he may see reduced playing time this season. On the other hand, he caught 40 balls and five touchdowns last season, and has the potential to put up some nice totals in given weeks.

Broncos wide receivers Javon Walker (knee) and Brandon Stokley (knee) are still less than 100 percent. Walker practiced fully on Thursday and should be able to play in Week 16, but he won't be at full strength until the offseason. Stokley sat out in Week 15 due to a sprained right knee and isn't sure if he'll be able to suit up on Monday night, the Denver Post reports. He has been limited in practice.
