Desmond Clark (right knee) practiced fully on Thursday and appears to be a go for the Bears Week 1 game against the Colts, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Our View:So much for Greg Olsen owner's who had visions of Clark sitting this one out allowing Olsen to rack up the snaps. Look for both tight ends to be utilized in the passing game, especially if the running game struggles.

Desmond Clark returned to practice Monday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Clark sustained a sprained right knee in the second preseason game against the Seahawks and was wearing a brace.

Our View:Greg Olsen should make a bigger impact in his second pro season, but Clark could still be productive enough to consider as a No. 2 for larger leagues, as the Bears like to frequently employ two tight-end packages. We will keep you posted on Clark's status for Week 1 against the Colts.

Desmond Clark will not play in the Bears' third preseason game Thursday against the 49ers due to his injured right knee, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Our View:His absence will allow more playing time for rookie tight end Kellen Davis (fifth-round out of Michigan State), who has looked good over the first two games of the preseason. Davis has good size at 6-7 262 pounds and has displayed solid hands and athleticism. He should make the team as the No. 3 tight end and could make an impact while working behind Greg Olsen if Clark fails to make a favorable recovery.

Tight end Desmond Clark injured his right knee during the Bears second possession in Saturday's preseason game in Seattle, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He moved to the sidelines and began icing the joint.

Our View:We'll be on the lookout for updates about Clark's status. He barely useful in fantasy leagues, but he is a key part of the Bears offense. They would miss his run blocking and ability to move the chains.

The Bears locked up Desmond Clark through the 2010 season by inking him to an extension on Sunday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Clark caught 44 passes for 545 yards and four touchdowns last season. Time will tell how much he'll slow the fantasy development of fellow tight end Greg Olsen by pilfering catches next season.
