Steve Heiden returned to practice on Tuesday after missing six weeks following back surgery, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Our View:Coach Romeo Crennel stated that the team must limit Heiden so that he can compete in training camp without limitations.

Tight end Steve Heiden recently underwent surgery to repair a bulging disc in his back and will be out for approximately three weeks, according to ESPN. The Browns initially planned to use treatment and rehab for the injury, but Heiden decided last week to have corrective surgery before the problem got worse.

Our View:Heiden is the No. 2 tight end in Cleveland's offense behind starter Kellen Winslow Jr., and is primarily utilized as a run blocker in the offense.
